In February, we were delighted to meet up with my sister Kay, her son Tom, and his son Teddy (pictured right) during their stay locally. Unbelievably this was the first time that these two six year olds (OB and Teddy) had met and by the end of the afternoon they were inseparable!
During their stay we managed to squeeze in a trip to the Amberley Museum, a place that Tom and Dan had enjoyed visiting when they were children back in the ‘90s.
We really don’t see enough of Ophelia since she started school last year and she’s now a Year 1, but we treasure our days out together when they do occur. One such morning was at Sky Park Farm near Petersfield where lots of deer always need feeding and there’s a brilliant adventure playground. In the picture on the left you can see us enjoying trying out one of their farm vehicles.
Another day we were able to take advantage of the heated school pool as well as chop and split some wood for the Great (Duck) Wall of Halfway Bridge. Ophelia enjoyed visits with us to local NT properties as well as to Emsworth, Littlehampton and Chichester. Below are a few pictures of OB!
We loved celebrating our wedding anniversary going over to The Quarterdeck Cafe in Itchenor for lunch via the ferry from Bosham.
